This profile is very balsamic and resinous.
Galbanum is well-known for its very intense green scent accompanied by a turpentine and resinous odor.
The initial notes are bitter, followed by complex green, spicy, woody, balsam-like notes.
Perfumery usage

Process
A primary extraction with a volatile solvent on fresh or dry biomass yields to a Concrete or Resinoid.
